CRM

Insight into your CRM Deals, Contacts, and Companies.

Written by Daan Marees

Billy Grace CRM lets you track how your marketing campaigns contribute to business outcomes. You can choose whether to track performance at Deal, Contact, or Company level, and configure this into custom events for deeper insights.

Get Started

Head to the CRM dashboard under Settings:

Create a new CRM Event

Click on the "+Create CRM Event' button top left to open the creation form.

In the form you can:

  1. Name your CRM event: this is the event name that will be shown in the reports.

  2. Select the event type: Deal, Contact, or Company.

Choosing a CRM event type

When setting up a custom event in Billy Grace, you can pick one of three CRM levels:

  • Deals: Track individual opportunities or conversions. Useful for seeing how campaigns contribute to specific revenue opportunities.

  • Contact: Track grouped contacts or leads. Useful for understanding how marketing impacts different segments or target groups.

  • Company: Track performance per organization. Useful for seeing how marketing drives results across multiple stakeholders within a company.

Selecting the right level allows you to measure marketing performance beyond lead generation, connecting campaigns to actual results.

Deals

Access and review all CRM deals received in the 'Deals' tab.

The deals tab shows which deals are available.
It has the following columns:

  • Title: the title of the deal

  • Date: the close date of the deal

  • Attributed: whether the deal is attributed or not. The CRM events are connected to the form_send event in the pixel based on the billy_grace_transaction_id.

  • Value: the value of the deal

  • ID: the ID of the deal

  • Billy Grace Transaction ID: the ID that is sent through the CRM integration to match on the pixel hits.

  • Status: the status of the deal

Create a CRM Deal Event

Select event type 'Deal'

Select Status

When creating your CRM Deal event, you can customize your preferences by selecting specific statuses for, for example, 'Received Deals' and 'Closed Deals'. This ensures the data you track aligns with your workflow. The CRM events created will only contain Deals with the status selected here, so make sure to add the right deal status.

Important: If you work with a pipeline (for example: Lead β†’ Appointment β†’ Analysis β†’ Contract), always include all the statuses that follow the stage you're tracking. For a Lead event, also select Appointment, Analysis and Contract statuses. This ensures Billy Grace counts deals correctly as they move through your pipeline.

Contact

Access and review all CRM contacts received in the 'Contacts' tab.

The contacts tab shows which contacts are available. It has the following columns:

  • Created at: the date when the contact was created

  • Active: whether the contact is active

  • Attributed: whether the contact is attributed

  • Owner ID: the owner ID in the CRM

  • ID: the ID in the CRM
