Connect Lightspeed to Billy Grace for insight in new & returning customers and a total overview of e-com metrics.

This guide will walk you through connecting your Lightspeed store to Billy Grace. By connecting your store to Billy Grace, you will get insights into extra metrics like:

  • New Customers

  • Returning Customers

  • New Customer Revenue

  • Returning Customer Revenue

  • Customer Lifetime metrics

Accessing the total number of orders also increases tracking and attribution accuracy.

Step 1: Connect Lightspeed

Navigate to Integrations and search for the E-commerce & CRM integration.

Click: "Authorize E-commerce or CRM Platform"

Select "Lightspeed"

There are four required configuration parameters for the Lightspeed integration:

  • API Key

  • API Secret

  • Cluster URL β†’ This is the base URL of the integration. You can check which cluster you use by looking at the domain of your login portal:

    • Select EU1 if you log in at https://SHOPNAME.webshopapp.com/admin/

    • Select US1 if you log in at https://SHOPNAME.shoplightspeed.com/admin/

  • Language β†’ Lightspeed supports several customer-facing languages, identified on the storefront by a two-letter code. Setting the language enables access to content tailored to that specific language:

    • Bulgarian (bg)

    • Canadian French (fc)

    • Danish (da)

    • Dutch (nl)

    • English (en)

    • English (US) (us)

    • French (fr)

    • German (de)

    • Greek (el)

    • Italian (it)

    • Norwegian (no)

    • Polish (pl)

    • Portuguese (pt)

    • Russian (ru)

    • Spanish (es)

    • Swedish (sv)

    • Turkish (tr)

To obtain your API Key and API Secret:

  1. Go to Settings > Store Settings > Developers.

  2. Select New API key, and enter a name for your new key. Click Save.

  3. Click the toggle to enable the API key.

  4. Select the permissions to grant to the new key:

    1. Products

    2. Customers

    3. Orders

    4. Settings

  5. Select Save, and copy your API Key and API Secret

  6. Select Show to display the API secret.
